Yes. Some of our sayings are different. Such as like saying "I will do it in a bit now" which to some seem like two entirely different meanings but to us it makes sense.
Or "See those two houses on the hill up there? Mines the one in the middle". Lots of sayings from here.
And another extremely common thing from these parts is using knick names. So common that one can know someone by their knick name and never know their real name until one attends their funeral. (When they die).

Can't say I've heard the house expression before, seems more like a joke about Wenglish. But I have heard 'I'll be there now in a minute' , 'Where you to?'.

My GF is from West Wales and up there they usually call a person by their first name and professions e.g. Dai The Milk (milkman), Wyn Butcher etc

Some odd ones from the Swansea area via a friend who says them are "I've buried my Mum" (Meaning not actually but rather they employed an undertaker to do it, but it makes me feel like saying "What? With your own hands?"), or "You've cut your hair" (Meaning someone has cut it for you rather than you have cut it yourself).
Dai Bungalow. Named as he was thick. (Nothing on top).
Dai Treechopper. Named when he went to take a test on a bus and demolished a row of trees.
Dai Twp (Self explanitory).
Will Drip (A plumber who was named "Drip" not due to the plumbing but due to his mental abilities so was clever in it was a double meaning knickname).
Spud. As he looked like a potato.
Smiley. Was always smiling even when angry!
Biscuit. Had a naturally round semi flat face.
Gonzo. Had a big nose.
Many others!

Twpsyn is a great Welsh word  ( for anyone interested it's pronounced 'toop' 'sin' and means thick , stupid , idiot and is often shortened to just Twp)
