He can't be autistic, he's too happy and cheerful and optimistic most of the time, and most of us are depressed and anxious from being forced to live in an NT world.

I relate to Squidward more than any other character from that show. :lol:

And I don't get this whole "character must be autistic" thing because "bla bla bla". Although I find Lilo from Lilo and Stitch and Ariel from The Little Mermaid to have relatable traits.

Spongebob doesn't appear to have sensory issues since he once wore black rubber boots that made awful squeaking sounds that drove MR. Krabs insane, and another time he was dancing all night to loud techno music with a jellyfish.

Mind you, I probably would dance late at night to techno if I wasn't worried about the neighbors, but as a kid if a pickle I bit into squeaked, every drop of blood in my body dried up and I'd cry.
