^^^now THAT's an epitaph!

I saw once on the net a photo of the gravestone of a Polish lady from the 19th century, whose name was according to it: "Cecylia de domo c**t, primo voto Dick" This unfortunate lady literally fell out of the frying pan and jumped into the fire when it comes to her last name.

My own gran in turn, once as a young woman refused marrying some man - just because he had a funny last name - Kiełbasa (Sausage) :D

too bad mr. kielbasa didn't change his name to peterson or somethin' like that.

I guess it was not that easy back then, before the war, anyway the last name of Kiełbasa is not that bad in this respect (it would actually be really bad only if someone had a pretensious sounding first name while having Kiełbasa for their last name) - there are MUCH worse last names, like for example I used to know a young woman whose last name was Fiut which here means Dick :)

don't mix carbs and fats. they both digest at different rates which results in putrefaction in the large intestine, causing the familiar backdoor odors.

I wish that worked for me. Certain meds can negatively affect my digestive system like Pepcid & Ozempic & eating beans can make it worse. Beano & meds to reduce gas are useless for me at preventing & reducing gas related to medication side-effects.

My friend swore he once saw it on a gravestone.
For some reason this makes me think of pirates :pirat: Probably cuz it's old english & mentions being killed by wind.

They were heavy into beans back in ancient Egypt.

Why do you think that they called him "Toot Uncommon."

It gives the obvious impression that he was an 18th century merchant ship sailor, or fishermen, who met his end in a storm at sea. All ships were sailing ships back then (not just pirate ships).

On the subject of Beano, if you are following some form of a low-carbohydrate diet - Beano will make most sugar alcohols (sweeteners) digestible. That means all of those "undigestible carbs" count. Diabetics should also use caution and monitor blood sugar levels if using Beano as well.
