trump will take this personally. Swift's team have kept her out of politics for a reason, back in 2015/16 she was still riding on the backs of country music fans who are notoriously linked to MAGAs. She was for a time also the performer who was publicly endorsed as a female role model by conservative/right groups in the US. It's only since she's become a global pop phenomenon they think it's safe to align her with progressive politics. I personally think its not a secret her parents were conservative. Her father in particular shielded his daughter from saying anything to support Hillary Clinton.

Trumps bizarre claims during the debate came across and delusional and paranoid. He seems to have a bit more than malignant narcissism now.

It's hilarious that they're upset about her endorsement. Trump has the endorsements of, and shared the stage with Hulk Hogan, Roseanne Barr, Kid Rock, Kanye West, and others. They're not angry so much that Kamala HAS celebrity endorsements... he's just upset that hers are better... saner.

In trying to dismiss Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris for President, J.D.Vance inadvertently spoke out against his own running-mate, Donald Trump:

Quote:
"I don't think most Americans . . . are going to be influenced by a billionaire celebrity who I think is fundamentally disconnected from their interests and the problems of most Americans."

Seeing this and then a lot of what circulated around with Meghan Kelly and then Candace Owen's talking about her 'self-infantilization' I decided that Taylor's probably a bit too wealthy and potentially influential for me not to know a thing about what she's up to (1.3 billion is a lot, not Musk-level, but she's probably within a few years of 11 digits).

I really hadn't thought about the possibility of her being 'one of us' but at this point it looks like a significant likelihood. I actually think the 'self-infantilization' might simultaneously be cozying up to fans (considering the average age) as well as masking.
