Medical personnel are obligated to treat patients in most circumstances. Some exceptions are if the hospital does not have enough room or patient behavior is threatening to people in the medical facility.
Medical personal are obligated to treat people whose politics or behavior outside of the facility they find vile. If they are unable to treat such people they are in the wrong profession.
In this case the nurse who impersonated a doctor will probably be arrested but unless evidence is found that the nurses actually tried to harm Israeli patients they should not be arrested. Should is the word because I am not familiar with Australian hate speech laws.
Their firings are justified.
