Places like Glasgow would definitely be my last choice if I was an outsider coming here for a few days. Glasgow itself is always far too crowded, I had to go there in April last year for an exam and getting out of there was such a huge relief. I know next to nothing about clean air fines, as my family doesn’t drive cars, but if you want to go beyond, go by train. It’s… not cheap, I admit (at least for me, iirc a return ticket is like £16 but I think they raised the price), but you get to go to some good, non-urban places and the journey is usually a few hours. I’d recommend Oban or Inverness. They’re both small so you can get everywhere by foot, quiet, and have nice surrounding nature.[/quote]
Think train would be a struggle. Is odd because I worked trains, but when I worked them I had "My own space" to return to (The back cab or the guards van).
Think I will stay in Wales.
