That is how I feel. On some occasions I have been accused of being arrogant by supperiors at my job when they don't think I show enough emotional respons when they compliment or critize the way I do my job. A simple "I'll keep that in mind!" or "Thank you!" is not enough. They expect their feedback or opinion to have an impact on my self-esteem and change the way I think of myself.
I was accused of being narrow-minded for calling myself a sissy as a joke because I accidentally wore pink instead of white. I wouldn't wear pink unless it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as it's a feminine color.
