Definitely. Hopefully I'm not charged with any offences. Well, I'm basically charged with the abusive behaviour. That's a given. Hopefully it doesn't result in a prison sentence.

I hate to think what it's like in there. Spending time in the cell, s**t food, prison showers. Makes me sick thinking about it.

Until you've been formally charged I wouldn't worry too much.

If their investigation doesn't determine grounds to charge you exist, they won't charge you with anything.

Even if you're charged, it doesn't mean the charge will stick, but additionally there might be procedural grounds to fight back.

They don't want to waste a bunch of money to accomplish nothing.

If you've been diagnosed or told you have autism by a psych or doc & you do get arrested it miight help to say that the abuse was due to you having an autistic meltdown. & if you weren't told you were autistic say the abuse was due to you having a mental breakdown at the time. Say you've gotten mental help since then if you have & if not say you want to receive mental help but cant afford it. It might also help to admit that you currently know your behavior was wrong & apologize for your actions.

Unfortunately not. Can't afford it.

Can you see about getting a public defender at least?

It's been four years, it's likely that no further action on this matter will occur.

Hopefully I find out soon.

I'd hate to drop the soap in the prison showers in there.

Yeah at this point, what would they gain from locking you up after supposedly running free and posing a threat to honest citizens for four years? Like you're not a threat until they decide to get around to deciding whether you're a threat?

The outcome is almost certainly that they're not progressing towards charging him.

If they were going to charge him they've had four years to build a case and start the process. In most places one has the right to a speedy trial and taking this long to get around to filing charges can be used as grounds to have the case dismissed.

They're unlikely to tell him positively that his case has been dropped, but that's the most reasonable outcome after four years with no further updates.

Court case is next Monday. I'm seriously scared and nervous. I'm hoping for the best outcome.

Yeah I'd be feeling the same

Only advice I can give is for you to dress smart

I think the only time I've ever used an iron in my life is when I've had to appear before the magistrate and it worked for me so hopefully it'll work for you too

Were you ever arrested & booked for the crime :?: It seems very odd to be if you weren't because it's standard procedure to be arrested & booked when being offically charged with a crime before going to court over it unless it's some rich white color type stuff, at least in America anyways.

I forgot to mention this but I was arrested last Friday and charged with the abusive behaviour and vaccine passport issue. They questioned me for 5 hours and outlined everything out for me. Handcuffs really are painful.
