I never wanted to be loved by the people around me when I was a child because I simply didn't love them but that doesn't mean to say I had no desire to be loved. Just not by them

It's a hard cold world when you don't feel love for anyone and from anyone. You might as well be in a cave by yourself

Well said. I'll add~ Some people majorly value their independence & freedom to do their own things without having others in their life. Also unfortunately some people had bad experiences & have given up on the idea that anyone could love or care about them so they mostly want others to stay away :( Plus there's some people who want others to fear & hate them, think the evil mad scientists movie stereotypes that want to destroy the world :twisted:


That directly correlates with my personal views of marriage and parenthood being voluntary imprisonment

Which of course, they 100% most certainly ARE!! !
