Never been to Ireland but, like the Geordies I love the personality and accent.

Yes, I always enjoy listening to the Irish radio stations wnen the atmospherics allow then to cross the Irish sea.

They seem to have more of a sense of community over there.

I'm a Liverpool supporter but I'm glad we lost the league cup to a club and it's supporters as classy as Newcastle.

I find the stereotyping and glorification of alcohol poisoning to be really cringy.

But I do like the Shamrock Shakes at McDonald's. I've made my own shakes with vanilla ice cream and peppermint extract, but for some reason it's just not the same.

I really wasn't well enough to do much observing this year, even if I wanted to.

I'm not into celebrating any holidays, especially ones that do not involve spending time with family. I completely forgot about it yesterday. My girlfriend had a routine test at the hospital & I went with her & we stopped at Mc.Donald's on the way home for food & then I stopped at the nearby grocery to get a couple things & walked home. I guess if I thought about it I could have been listening to some Irish music while on the bus instead of the metal/glam-rock I had on. As for the drinking, I never been much of a drinker & I shouldn't drink anyways with a lot of the meds I'm on & I also have Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease probably due to med side-effects.

When I performed a couple of songs at the local music place yesterday, I chose Rare Old Mountain Dew and Danny Boy. Everybody else had done country and gospel just like they usually do, but to my surprise, instead of nailing me to a barn door for my cheek they liked it. One of them said I'd stolen the show.

Nice one

I technically have half Irish ancestry although I never refer to myself that way. I don't generally celebrate St. Patricks Day except I used to always wear green, but yesterday I was walking down the street when I suddenly realized I no longer have any green shirts. So I guess I do nothing
