But look at who's reporting on it and their credibility. The one channel has videos on Bigfoot and the Shroud of Turin, the other one is Glenn Beck (aka the prequel to Tucker Carlson and Alex Jones).

Basically, it keeps spreading around the crackpotosphere.

Fair enough, I understand why major news and scientific groups have attacked the announcement, if its true it either
a. rewrites history
b. leaves some major questions on who built apparently advanced structures miles below the Giza plateau.

I am waiting for the authors themselves to reveal more, apparently within this week they will talk to the international media more about their SAR method (advanced LIDAR) they claim is ground penetrating and has never been used before on the Giza plateau until their paper.

According to Piers Morgan it's a 50:50 split among scientists if this is real

Based on previous results there's a 95% chance that Piers Morgan is wrong. :skull:

Point is, the claim is gaining traction, its now hit nearly every news/podcast in the world.
Media/scientific community are awaiting the author's providing further insight into their ground penetrating radar technique which they claim is new.

I am awaiting to see how the Egyptian authorities react to any confirmation of an underground advanced structure beneath the pyramids. Based on prior finds by Japanese scientists (of voids in the great pyramid) my guess is they will lock the place down. the beauty of using satellite images is that you don't need permission to confirm the results are reliable and valid.

A discovery like this shouldn't belong to a corrupt regime like Egypt or the Egyptian people and needs UN protection from exploitation and wholesale looting.

Interesting debate going on about the alleged pyramid structures on a geophysics reddit page.

Again seems to be split. A lot of the geophysicists are claiming SAR tomography is unreliable because it relies on sound waves and the researchers have simply picked up a lot of noise which they have mistaken for structures.

However a number of petroleum geophysicists point out that tomography was pioneered to search for possible oil-bearing strata. (This was in the late 1950’s). The technique involved detecting sonic waves at many points caused by small explosions set off by the geologists. The reconstruction was done using the primitive computers or electromechanical calculators at the available at the time. The point is that they were not actually using mysterious random noises but deliberate seismic disturbances created by their explosions and using detection devices already in use by geologists who study earthquakes.

Other geophysicists who have used GPR tomography scans say they accurately detect geothermal activity below ground and its quite accurate. It's therefore highly probable the scans show something is down there.
