Another egotistical celebrity who thinks they're entitled to all the praise and all the viewership.

They're not entitled to my praise nor my viewership.

Near as I can tell her only mistake was taking a fat paycheck from Disney to be part of their terrible movie.

Did you read the quote I posted on page 1?

Another thing is people like her get into flame wars on social media defending their statements against backlash which doesn't help things in their favor. Fans and frequent moviegoers and online critics are gaslighted when they don't like the actress's attitude. Attacking fans is getting old. It is no longer stunning and brave. It just means the company is allergic to money.

Honestly a lot of what she said was taken and put into a different context before it could be properly analyzed from a non biased point of view. People will read into it in different ways and not agree on what she truly meant. I don't think she even made it clear herself. That's why people got upset.

That's a more thoughtful take than the earlier one, among reasons because it doesn't validate the backlash to the same extent.

Dude! she made those comments when she was 21/22 years old. that's barely outside from when she was a teenager.

It does not matter what is the controversy is the issue is why. The answer is people project their issues onto celebrities when they should find something better to do. Until AI can create entertainers who on order perfectly align with your political and moral views people should learn to deal with it or boycott 95 percent of all entertainment.

I have a strong suspicion that the majority of people complaining about Zegler have never seen Snow White or have only seen it because it was a nice thing to do for their daughter.
