Tool - "Aenima." It's okay, really, but there are only 9 real songs on it--6 of the tracks are filler. And I'm honestly just not into the overall sound of it. I much prefer A Perfect Circle.

Another APC fan I see. Always great to meet people with taste. I am an A Perfect Circle fan myself. mer de Noms was the best Maynard ever recorded.

Overrated albums heh... everything the Beatles did before Abbey Road is just way too simple for me, not to use the word "crap" 8O After Abbey Road things got better but still not nowhere as good IMO as many people want to believe. I grew up on the Beatles music and I never got the hype. Overrated is the perfect term for this band.

Am I the only one who thinks 90's grunge in general is overrated? Also green day's "american idiot", I think overrated is being too nice.

I believe that most bands that are advertised by mass-medias are actually over-rated. Some of their songs might be interesting, but overall their albums sound the same from the beginning to the end (if not their entire discography). I generally avoid buying that kind of music anyways.

The black album by Metallica, all the f****n way!
Even if you are not a fan of them its not that good, there are only like 3 decent songs on it, but if you listen to Ride the Lightning, you will recognize Metallica's true genius, and in comparison, the black album is just crap. Their style changed dramatically, from long epic metal anthems, to short radio-friendly mainstream metal.

All Pink Floyd Albums released after 'Meddle'. -- Save for the brilliance of 'One Of These Days', and 'Echoes' , that album was lousy as well.
