thought you all might be interested to hear another little pearl of wisdom from the compassionate mr pat robertson. it sounds like something you would expect to hear from an inbred seventeenth-century religious fanatic but was, in fact, said as recently as 1992.

i don't know who "Feminism" is but i would like to know if she is available for private functions.

if you believe in god/dess you shouldn't destroy something s/he created. robertson obviously thinks he is a higher authority than god/dess.

I can see Sean is up to usual antics, propping up an indefensible comment by some madman.

I am a fan of President Chavez. I think it is awful. He was democratically elected for God's sake!! !! What has happened to true democracy, guys, that the rightful ruler of a democratic country should be threatened for the sake of American Oil.

No, but it would be the start of one. I'm still not sure why he cares so much about Chavez and Venezuela anyway? I mean, there's alot of Heads of State where spending a .50 BMG bullet or a sub launched, nuclear tipped cruise missile would be a much better invesment.

I think it's pretty hypocritical to be a Christian news reporter, and promoting a Christian lifestyle, and then he says that he wants us to assassinate the Venezuelan president. It also doesn't make sense (from a non-religious point of view) to say something like that on national television when our government is trying to get on even ground with Venezuela. I think it was inappropriate and that it wasn't really his job to make that sort of statement; I do still believe in freedom of speech, but not when it's about killing someone else. Making statements like that on national t.v. is totally different from the kind of free speech that doesn't hurt or supposed to physically hurt anyone else; he could have just said his opinion to someone he knew or kept it to himself, but not on a t.v. show where other people are extremely affected.
