I don't know if I would want a bumper sticker that says "Honk if you love someone with Aspergers".
Car honks scare me pretty bad even when I am doing the honking. I would ever be waiting for that honk out of nowhere to come just because someone read my bumper sticker.
I like the general idea a lot, just not the honking part.

Yes,it's a strange sticker,as what it encourages is actually something that would be torture to those on the spectrum.
What is the point in beeping the horn anyway? it doesn't mean anything.

2ukenkerl,
about the exam bit,it should be possible for an aspie to not understand an entire test,if they have a lot of difficulty with understanding fiction/fake,they can fail the exam altogether regardless of ability.
Another reason can be with information processing problems,or the person might have added on 'extras' eg,dyslexia, executive dysfunction, visual processing problems...

I don't trust them!

They've also done podcasts with Temple Grandin and several members of Neurodiversity.

They are completely unbiased.

Well, I don't suppose it's any worse than the T-shirt at cafepress.com encouraging people to "look me in the eye". No, don't look me in the eye - unless, of course, your goal actually is to make me hideously uncomfortable.

I've got a bumper sticker that reads, "CURE NEUROTYPICALS NOW! Offended? Good. Now you know how we feel."

No, I didn't. :)
I was just so suprised to actually see an Asperger's bumper sticker (I didn't know that they even existed), that all I could think of at that moment was to snap a picture of it.

The National Autism Association's store
http://www.nationalautismassociation.or ... php?cat=42
Site has stickers, ribbons, jewelry, tshirts, magnets, vitamin supplements, documentary films, books, nutritional supplements, mugs, and aides, and you can also make charitable donations to fundraisers and in others' honor.

This is the first time that I've seen an Asperger's bumper sticker on a car.
As you can see, the van also had an Autism Speaks sticker as well as an Autism Awareness ribbon.

unfortunately that car also has the autism speaks bumper sticker on it :(

The NAA is a mercury poisoning website. They do nothing positive in regards to autism awareness.

http://www.autismlinkstore.com

They have lots of this stuff... and all proceeds go directly to families who can't afford treatments.

It looks like they are propagating the unfounded myth of vaccinations causing autism as one of their shirts has this on it: "Number of vaccinations: Doubled Number of children with autism: Doubled Coincidence?"
