puzzles in 2 were ret*d.... most of them were extremely easy, the only awful thing was that i got lost like every 5 minutes and couldnt remember where i should go or something _o_
i also hated that boat driving thing, couldnt complete it lol, THAT was awful

Heh, I was referring to the boat driving and the cube-rotating thing. By awful I don't necessarily mean "hard," I just mean tedious or annoying.

Still, the most tedious were in 4.

It had terrible controls, no cohesion whatsoever between one section and the next and the puzzles were out of place, there was basically long sections where you just wandered around trying to trigger the next cutscene. The combat was truly awful and just felt like it was artificially lengthening the game, as even the most basic enemies, despite being easy to kill took several hits to finally roll over and die. The camera also gave you headaches the whole way through.

While those screenshots look nice, the sequel will have to do a lot more than just have good graphics to interest me.
Silent Hill 3 Was The best work they did on any game the graphics were more than you could ask for and the arsonal was big. Silent hill 5 is supposed to have monsters react to sound and your movment against other objects so you will have a hard time trying to not crunch the leaves on the ground cause if you do BANG there after you. lol

It was a terrible game. I played it through to the end, and it never got any better.

y'know, i may be alone from this, but Silent Hill is think is a series that doesn't improve with better graphics. i think what helped make the original so scary were the grainy pixely graphics for the original Playstation. now with all the HD it doesn't seem that different from all the other games and that doesn't scare me as much.

That's a very interesting thought, and it could very well be true. I never found any of the SH games SCARY, per say...the film? Yes. But not the games. Though SH3 did have that wonderfully creepy-as-hell scene with the mirror in the hospital....
