Not much of a fan of The Smiths, because Morrisey's vocals and lyric's are absoloutely apalling ("I was looking for a job and then I found a job," please...) and I haven't heard of visage, but all the other bands are fantastic.

Nice to see another young fan of My Bloody Valentine.

Seems like nowadays if it's not chug, it's automatically ****.
I love my metalz, but I can't JUST listen to metal, I'd get so bored.

I absolutely love The Verve, and I haven't heard any of the other bands

All of them. But I voted MBV because they inspired so many of my favourite bands, and I love them, and I saw them earlier this year and I was deafened for the next week, my GOD they are so LOUD.... loud loud loud... 25mins of noise. You start hearing things, it's really bizarre.

I am a huge Smiths fan. So logically I chose for them out of this poll. Apart from Echo & The Bunnymen I consider The Smiths the best band ever.

I do like The Cure as well somewhat, but only their eighties work, once after Wish was released it went downhill. To me The Cure is a bit like U2: fantastic during the eighties, mediocre once after that era. The Cure never moved me as much as the Smiths or U2 though. I also like The Verve quite a lot.

My Bloody Valentine: cannot judge as I only know a few songs, and never really heard any song by Visage.
