The ramp up for April Fools Day gets earlier and earlier every year. I was in the supermarket yesterday and they were playing April Fools Days songs over the tannoy. It should be illegal for people to start talking about April Fools Day until after New Years Day. It's over commercialised now anyway.

I agree.

April Fools day should remain in.... April.

I haven't noticed that in England or Arkansas yet, but it sounds like the kind of crap I've come to expect from the modern developed free-market world.

I'm not a great fan of pranks but I've not been the victim of many. I tend to stick with fairly kind, sensitive people who wouldn't want to ruffle their friends' feathers. And I don't readily believe the news at the best of times. I like detecting the dirty propaganda tricks they embed in the news, and I see it as a rather poor source of information about what's going on in the world.
