"Si no quieres que te siga en el fuego, no vayas al fuego."

Translates to, "If you don't want me to follow you on fire, don't go in fire."

Anna said this quote and it's from Frozen 2.

Welcome to the game, Caroline.

you're supposed to give us the quote in Spanish. Just the Spanish
And then we try to figure out the original English.
If we get it wrong THEN you give the answer.

Its a game. You dont answer your own question. Got it?

I was gonna wait until AA responded.

But its been six days. And youve joined in.

So I will ask one now.

This is a short one.

"Aqui esta....Juanito!! !! !"

Translate it. Name the movie, and who says it, and -for extra credit-- identify what the character was referencing. :)

It's from Psycho.

"We all go a little mad sometimes." (Norman Bates to Marion Crane)

Three clues:

This is actually from a play that became a movie that was directed by Ron Howard.

The two lead actors in this film reprised their roles from the play for this movie.

The actual events that the play was based off of were wildly successful.

American Political Figure (to the Englishman interviewing him): "Cualquier cosa que haga un servidor publico nunca debe estar por encima de la ley en absoluto!"

I guess this seemingly simple one is too hard for everyone. Okay.

The "ito", or "ita" ending stuck on to names is the Spanish equivalent of the "y" we stick on to names to show affection.

So it's: "Heeeeere's Johnny!".

The movie is "The Shinning". Jack Nicholson says it while chopping doors with an axe to get at Shelly Duval. And its a reference to what Ed McMahon would say on the Tonight's Show, to introduce Johnny Carson.

Its from "Frost/Nixon".

Nixon is talking to David Frost. Its apparently NOT the famous line "If the President does it then its not illegal". But it must be something like that.

Something about "a public servant has to do what he has to do" is the ghist of it. Lol! Thats the best I can do without going to google translate.

You are correct. It is what Nixon says to Frost.

However, "A public servant does what a public servant has to do, but when a public servant does something wrong, the servant cannot be placed above the law" has the same concept to it.

Two infinitives in the same sentence? Are you sure your grammar is right?

"to do, to find, [something]".

My guess "you have to do stuff in order to find yourself"?

It's from O Brother, Where Art Thou?

"Do not seek the treasure!"

This might be a hard one because the line made no sense (even within the context of the movie).

"Nessisita???? Nessisita???

Tu la nambraste mi nina en su honor del monstruo del Lagos de Ness?????"

I guess that one was too hard! My bad.

Its from "Breaking Dawn" . The final chapter of the "Twilight Saga".

Its being said (angrily yelled while she throws things) by Bela Swan (the human highschool girl played by Kristen Stewart) to the hunky American Indian warewolf dude who was the rival of the handsome vampire guy who she finnally marries (and has married by the time of the scene).

And the quote is:

"Nessie! Nessie! You named by baby after the Loch Ness Monster!?!?!?!?!"

It struck me as an unintentionally funny line given the situation.

The situation being:

In the Twilight universe warewolves "imprint" on individuals and instinctively become bonded to individuals. Its like falling in love, but its not like falling in love. And the warewolf dude had just confessed to "imprinting" upon Bela's baby that she had just had by her Vampire husband, and he referred to the baby as "Nessie" (when here name is Resemee or like that).

Just your basic "warewolf falls in love with a newborn baby" situation, gone bad.
