Love, Empathy, Compassion, and Mercy. These are the qualities that make up a good Christian. These are also the qualities that make an Evangelical Christian physically ill. They don't want some hippie peace lover. They want a sword that stabs at the heart of all that is evil. But what they define as Evil is an ever growing list that includes people, places, and concepts most of which don't really mean any harm but Evangelicals want to be rid of all of it anyway. This is what makes Trump so dangerously popular towards them.
