Capote VS Infamous

Phillip Seymour Hoffman won a Best Actor Oscar for his performance as Truman Capote in the former.

British character actor Toby Jones played Truman Capote in the latter, which was released
one year after Capote and unfortunately was a box-office flop.

I am looking forward to seeing Brendan Fraser in Darren Aronofsky's adaptation
of The Whale (based off of the play of the same name), but a release date has not been set.

I just saw Bros. It's the first romantic comedy I've ever actually liked. I've always liked women, but transitioning a few years ago lifted my fear of entertaining an interest in men, at least in fantasy. I remember how things were in the 80s and 90s, so it warmed my heart to see the pride parade, and I got a lot of the jokes throughout the movie. They also really made an effort to address the whole community, at least in some way, so even Trans guys got a tiny mention. Not bad for the first Gay Rom-Com from a major Hollywood studio.

I did not, however, enjoy the needlessly derisive, if brief, exchange about people who don't get sarcasm, of course.
