What Is Your Myers-Brigs Personality Type?

Thank you, Moog! That's a wonderful poll and thread you've referenced!

I have an ISTJ personality.

The last time I took one of those tests, my results classified me as ISTJ (introverted, sensing, thinking, judging). Basically, that means that I am very logic-based (I go with my head and not with my heart). I prefer concrete ideas and thinking, I am a here-and-now type of person, I am a realist, and I enjoy details.

I do not agree with most of the career options specified for me, though. Probably the only career options I can somewhat see myself doing are being a judge or a lawyer. Somewhat.

On the short (no charge) test someone posted the link to (thank you) I got:
INTJ
I 100%
N 58%
T 58%
J 63%

It is interesting how common this one is for us in this poll, and it being a rare personality type.
That's us!

INFP traditionally whenever I take the tests, but I do definitely have my INTP side. It comes out often.

Not sure if on the spectrum. (See my sig.)

Mine is INFJ, I know that it's (I believe?) 1% of the population, one of the MOST RAREST personality types in the US!... But idk the percentages per trait, though??

I myself am a INTJ and I find it remarkable how many people ended up with this result. Does anybody know about any studies that might have ever been done regarding Personality types and AS or other related conditions? I've always been intrigued with most of Carl Jungs' theories, especially when it comes to complex personality types. Anybody else that may be interested in this sort of thing should look into the process of individuation.

I have wondered about this and done some reading myself. I usually get INTP and sometimes INTJ. I will look that up.

Well I think that that at least the I, N & F parts are true for most people with Asperger's? Because I took a personality quiz and found that mine was INFJ, one of, if not the most rarest personality type (mines at the bottom of the list: 3%)

INTP

100% Introverted (Not a surprise, other people terrify me. Seriously.)
74% Intuition
58% Thinking
63% Perceiving

I've taken this test before and I think I got the same result.

INTP, but I tend to get something different each time. I think I'm on the cusp for a couple of traits - a mix of both introverted and extroverted, and a mix of thinking and feeling. Plus the names lead me to think they're measuring something very different from what they are. For example, 'intuition' doesn't actually seem to mean 'knowing things without knowing how you know them', which is what I usually mean by intuition (and I'm not a fan of it). In this test it seems to mean something more like thinking abstractly, as far as I can tell.

More detailed results:

Extraverted - 32%
Introverted - 68%
Sensing - 16%
Intuition - 84%
Thinking - 58%
Feeling - 42%
Judging - 16%
Perceiving - 84%

Personally, I prefer the Big Five - http://www.outofservice.com/bigfive/

Openness to Experience/Intellect - 90th centile
Conscientiousness - 5th centile
Extraversion - 70th centile
Agreeableness - 32nd centile
Neuroticism - 97th centile

My scores on this test are usually consistent. Extraversion bounces around, but I usually top the charts on Openness and Neuroticism and score bottom on Conscientiousness. Agreeableness bounces around a bit but is usually moderately low (I have strongly caring ideals, but in practice I tend to say what I feel even if it's not very nice).
