It's not that I'm not emotional, it's that I'm not a big emoter. I remember crying about going to the babysitter once when I was 3 and being deeply ashamed that I was making such a scene. (I was sick and honestly couldn't help it)
Unless I remember to make an effort, I usually seem pretty chilly.

Extremely. Still am, but to a lesser degree.

I actually got more emotional as the years went by.
The only thing I was really emotional about was school bullies, which I severely exaggerated (three girls chanted "chicken" at me when I was seven and wouldn't jump out of a swing--I was very cautious from seven on up--and I told my parents they pushed me down, scratched me and called me "super baby chicken".
Other than hating kids at school I noticed little to nothing, and mostly just played with toys, played my dad's electric keyboard, watched cartoons, played with my gerbils and played outside. I was VERY blissfully unaware, and I didn't even know until recently my dad had bad drug problems at the time and they were having bad marital issues and family problems (and my parents have never been good at hiding arguments). I miss that, I could go through an entire day and just think about something simple like making cut out horses during recess or playing with my cat when I got home rather than fretting and worrying over everything. Unless it was a jerky kid at school...or someone trying to get me to eat something gross.

I was unemotional. My mother asked my father why I didn't have any emotions.

Sometimes very unemotional and sometimes extremely emotional. I don't think I experienced anything in between until I was eight.

I said in my other post that I was very emotional as a child, and I was. However only one of my kids is, and that's my youngest son. Or at least they don't show them, they may be more emotional than I know. I try to draw them out and talk to them about feelings but they usually don't want to.
