My hair is straight, which doesn't look good on me, so I twist it up in scrunchies & sleep with it like that-when I wake up my hair is wavy.

When I have long hair it is straight at the head but the ends are a bit wavy. At the moment I have short hair so it is rather straight.

The only time my hair isn't straight is when I have "bed-head."

My hair is naturally straight and since I find straight hair to be the most aesthetically pleasing anyway I am totally cool with the way my hair looks like and I would never want to change its texture like some people do.

If I brush it out wet, then let it dry it does this;

If I brush it again once it's completely dry it does this.

These are not me, but the hair could be mine.

Thanks!

Up until I was in my late 50s, it was a lot of fun. I don't know why Aspies age slowly but we certainly seem to.

Nowadays, for whatever reason, it's becoming a frontotemporal dementia magnet... poor souls who are losing their ability to behave themselves sometimes follow me around in stores, or fixate on me in restaurants. So I tie it back or put it in a topknot when I'm out of the house. Problem solved.

I still like it, it's not yet grey, and my face is not yet too old for it, so I don't want to cut it yet. That day is coming, eventually.

Actually, it just appears that you have a high forehead, like me. :mrgreen: Speaking of which, is this a common characteristic of aspergiens? I have come across others who've asked this question, as well...which I suppose is an entirely, different matter than what you've mentioned about your hair. :flower: :geek: :study:

I wonder if it is because our brains are constructed differently? different brain shape = different cranium shape? :chin:
