The bubble times seems like it was fun.. I want to take a time machine.
I can only listen to my older relatives anecdotes and record collections.

Well, here is a bubble guy and a post-bubble guy.. But I prefer bubble. :)

For some Japanese 80s rock with female singers...

I wish I could post a bit more, but it's VERY hard to find this type of music for some reason. Love it, though.

I love K-pop! My favorite bands are Nu'est, U-Kiss, EXO, Big Bang, 2NE1, Girls Generation, B.A.P, B2ST, B1A4, and many others. I haven't heard much J-pop.

All right, forget f(x), forget SNSD, forget Fin.K.L., this is now my favourite Korean female group:

Violins and horns, it takes some guts to sell that to a mainstream audience.

I have heard my share of J-Pop, and I do have some 1980s J-Pop on my iTouch. It's pretty amazing to hear! It's like the pop music the Western world put out then.

Pretty big fan of K-pop ATM. I used to listen to J-pop in high school and uni, too.

There are quite a few genres of Korean music I like listening to ? mostly the non-pop ones.
A couple of different examples:

^Those are both pretty cool, Muhiriku! I especially liked 'Ocean Of Light'.

I've been listening to BoA's new Japanese single, 'Masayume Chasing'. It's the kind of upbeat song that BoA's gotten famous for, but it's got some of her trademark choreography in there which is always nice.

I incidentally saw the dance movie she was in yesterday, Make Your Move. It isn't groundbreaking cinema, even for a dance movie, but it was still enjoyable, and she carried herself fine throughout the film and had great chemistry with Derek Hough. Most of the dance scenes were not that special, though, but there were a couple of nice ones.

I like BoA as a dancer. The first video I saw from her was "Eat You Up": I'm a fan of hip-hop dance, so I liked her immediately. Funnily enough, it was actually hip-hop dance that got me into K-pop in the first place (via Taeyang, from Big Bang).

But Nell are probably my favourite Korean band. There's a song of theirs called "The Day Before" (video) which is so ... sad. My favourite of theirs, for sure.
