If you allow the back of the Xbox 360 console sufficient space (at least a metre I think), and have it in the horizontal position, even put a fan at the rear of the console, then the overheating problems will be gone. It's the overheating problem that causes most of the malfunctions and warps the motherboard. Microsoft is moving onto 65nm chips anyway, which require less power and cause less heat.

And now the X360 is *cough* officially more unreliable than microsoft would hope for.

I think Nintendo should quit thinking only casual gamers and pay more attention to us "hardcores". Main reason why I bought wii are Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but it wuold be nice to have more "deep" game-experiences...

Yeah. I debated buying a Wii again today, but couldn't quite pull the trigger. It's made worse because I don't like Smash Bros. or Mario Kart, so I don't even ahve those to look forward to. I'd be getting it with Zelda and Super Paper Mario, but after Metroid Prime 3...?

Nintendo's E3 press conference was spooky. Fitness software is the big unveiling? Yikes. The Gamespot Editors were talking about how strange that was too since it's not like casual gamers would even know E3 exists, let alone be watching a broadcast of it.

I chose PS3, but I think all consoles are great on different ways. Wii seems atractive, but I'm saving money for a PS3 because there are some games I would like to play, and I have a lot of PS2 and PS1 games that I can play with a PS3. XBOX 360 is good too, but I'm not really interested in the games that Microsoft have.

If you like the games of certain console, then it's a good console, that's what I think.

I agree. That's why I like Nintendo consoles (including the Wii)
