EarthBound is one of my favorite games, I saved up a lot of money to buy it when it came out @_@

I wish I had kept it in better shape. I could never sell the game itself, but maybe the strategy guide or the box.

You have a real Earthbound? You're so lucky!

It's not really luck, we had a subscription to Nintendo Power for a long time ;) The game looked amazing, I had to have it as soon as it was out...which was difficult back then, you couldn't just look up the release date online, or search different stores' websites to find out who actually had it in stock (because a few places we checked did not know what it was). I can't even remember where we did buy it.

I remember the day my friend came over, though. He had rented it a couple times from a grocery store, and that day he came over and said "Guess what I rented!" and I said "Guess what I BOUGHT!" He was floored.

NP also had this awesome looking game called Harvest Moon, but unfortunately, I never bought that one =/ A lot of games in that series are worth a bit of money, these days.

I figured it was a well loved game, I mean otherwise it wouldn't be on the classic. Just not one I knew of until recently.

It's actually styled after Dragon Quest more than Final Fantasy, BTW ;)

Anyone got any tips for killing Master Belch? I've been stuck on this boss fight for awhile, in spite of having three strong characters. And yes, I know you can use herbs to cure his nasty breath attack.

I haven't played the game in forever, and I'm trying to forget most of it (so it can be amazing again the next time I replay it), but I seem to recall using fly honey on him. Or was that the item you get from him?

Either way, the strategy guide really spoiled the game for me =/

Yes, feed him the fly honey. He stops to eat it and then wasting him is simple LOL.

By the early 1990s, new ones were in bargain bins for $20 each.

Nintendo Power had a $10 off coupon, so I spent $70 on my copy. That was a lot of money for an 11-year-old.
