The virtual world had a killer Black Friday sale I took advantage of.

I bought a new 1TB Crucial MX500 SATA III 2.5" SSD fo $120.99 CAD, cheapest it's ever been. Games these days take up well over 100GB each so my other 1TB SSD filled up. Was going to get a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVME SSD but it would have eaten up 3 of my SATA ports that I am using for other disk drives so I went with another SATA SSD instead.

https://www.amazon.ca/Crucial-MX500-NAN ... ffae3a273c

Also picked up some faster higher capacity RAM, CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory Model CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 for $159.99 CAD. Microsoft flight simulator wants 32GB of RAM to run ideally.

I also picked up another Kasa smart plug which is on sale for $12.99 CAD on Amazon. I use them all over my house, they work great, totally hassle-free. https://www.amazon.ca/Kasa-Smart-Wi-Fi- ... ffae3a273c

The thing I hate about Black Friday, is it is all kind of a scam. They artificially inflate prices before the event and then they tell you you are getting 30% off, even though that is the usual sale price. Guaranteed if you are buying something for Black Friday, go on the internet in January, I bet what you bought it for will be its usual price.

https://ca.camelcamelcamel.com/ or other price tracking websites fix that problem. You just look at the historical pricing to see if it's a good deal or not.

One online game I play had 75% off the price of a significant level boost package. Now there's boosted characters all over the place lol.

I've just realised Euro Car Parts have 45% off until Monday. So I might be getting new pads and rear discs for the Volvo now, rather than waiting until January.

I play two games on my iPad, both of them had Black Friday sale too for boost package. 75% is great.

I ordered 2-3 dozen Christmas presents over the capitalist consumerism long weekend - saved money on most, but accidentally didn’t do my due diligence checking prices on some Christmas ornaments and overpaid compared to what I could have bought the same ones for from another amazon seller. Oh well, already done.. and at least they’re hilarious and should be appreciated. :D

I ordered a dozen of these:

Did not go black friday shopping

Had to work

At work, black friday , some cockroach had the nerve to make me load three refrigerators into the vehicle. Heavy 137 lb. My worthless corpse 120lb. My wings have been sore since. It is now Wednesday afternoon. The insect was curt and did not say " thank you.". (please do not "be true to yourself")

No car

No cash, for that purpose

Nobody to take my worthless corpse shopping

Six pairs of shoes holes

Printer cartridge

Dryer

Clothes

Whatever

I boosted 3 characters. Was a great deal because it came with premo stuff that would have taken a lot of work to get the regular way.

So, first you pays your money to play the game, and then you pay more not to have to play it? :chin:

Nah it's free to play. And there's still plenty to do other than grinding for gear.

Lol no I'm playing the boosted character right now for free. And I paid for the boost with accumulated ingame points I didn't want to spend on anything else. I had about 2500 accumulated deed and quest reward points and nothing of any real interest to use them on. So when they offered the boost with all the primo gear etc for 1695 points, I went for it.

Why are you mocking me and trying to make me feel stupid, instead of just saying something nice like "I'm glad you got a good deal and that you're happy with it"?
