Music keeps me in my car - listening to a good song or three or five if they happen to come on back to back on the radio after I park my car at home at the end of the night.. but having to take a piss - that’s what gets me out of my car just the same as it gets me out of bed.

Music for me is like a cure for autism. When the right music starts, I lose my social anxiety, I can focus on the tasks more and I can also get energy and motivation to get rid of my executive dysfunction, it's like an energy drink for autism.

Music keeps me in my car - listening to a good song or three or five if they happen to come on back to back on the radio after I park my car at home at the end of the night.. but having to take a piss - that’s what gets me out of my car just the same as it gets me out of bed.
That car sounds fun.
It gets me out but not for long.
It's nothing particularly special (2013 Dodge Dart base model 2L 6MT) but one thing they really nailed for such a super basic car is the sound system. Fancier models had 6 or 8 speaker systems, so I bet they're way better, but this one with just 4 speakers sounds A M A Z I N G for what it is. It came with basic paper speakers, and then after I paid the car off I bought one of the upgrade Mopar speaker kits from Dodge that has plastic Rockford Fosgate speakers I believe - and they sound waaaaay better than the cheapie paper ones. It's literally the best 4 speaker car audio system I've ever heard never mind owned. It's one thing that kinda keeps me wanting to keep my car for a long time yet. (I bought it brand new, cheap, 6 years ago - it had sat on the lot for 4 years unsold because no one wanted it.) I'll be inheriting my father's truck but can't justify driving it daily as it gets 15mpg and would cost me more than $1000/mo for gas, sooo, I'll drive both until gas gets so expensive that it's cheaper to buy a new electric truck than pay for gas. Truck audio is Ok but kinda meh compared to my car. No speakers on my motorcycle :/ BUT I installed speakers in my new helmet so now I have tunes on the road there, too.
My van only has 2 speakers though.. kinda lame - but better than nothing. It's pretty much sold, though. Friend has had it for a couple weeks to make sure it's gonna be okay for him - gonna take a down payment and then payments on it to help him out. Going for a motorcycle ride is another good reason to get out of bed.
I'd do that today, but it's in the shop.. water pump seal or two need to be replaced - noticed some drips from the overflow on the floor. Might have to wait in line for a couple weeks before repair. Oh well - most of the next 2 weeks is pretty crap weather, anyways. Better to be out of commission now than in July!!

I got the chance to try multiple sound device types recently but on the shelves sometimes I'd see the car installable speakers. I'd always wondered what they sound like. I think I'm going to Google your sound system because I'm curious especially if you say it's the best you tried.
My favorites are portable speakers especially ones with lights and boom-boom physical wiggly effects for the bass. And I like to mess with digital sound settings to make them even more customized, loud or interesting.
I have always been surprised about the ones for the car that blow a girl's hair up in the air, such strength of bass, to be honest volume in no time. xD It's strange though, on recording that sound gets too distorted to be musical, it seems to be muted. I think they're way too expensive though, it's usually for show.

Money.
Sometimes ya gotta go earn it.
But not today lol I'm sipping coffee, just ate a tim horton's sour cream glazed donut, listening to bs news about ivanka trump throwing her family under the bus in court etc. Might make a few phone calls to collect some monies owed to me, but no plans of going to earn any today.
It IS a reason to get out of bed, though. Life is expensive, goals cost money, dependants depend on bread winners to win bread etc.

Contractor I work for/with now and then swung by this morning and signed off on a letter I needed signed. Asked if I’d come do some work tmw and/or the next morning as he’s so crippled from over working that he can’t bend down low to do the work. I figure I’ll get out of bed real early and go get it done before rush hour & before my dad’s likely to wake up mid morning or so.
So, that’s a reason to get out of bed super early. Make some cash polishing beads to help out a crippled old man that can’t bend down to hit ‘em from the floor up to 7’ or so. Plus he owes me $ so I’ll bug him about that.
