I collect foreign change. I joke that if I ever visit Europe I'll have enough to buy a candy bar

I used to find rare coins when wrapping coins for a store. Found a 1912-S Lincoln penny that is worth a lot more than a penny today! Old pennies from the San Francisco mint may be valuable to collectors.

Good find. As a kid, I pulled a 1909-s V.D.B. Lincoln cent out of my mother’s purse. She let me look through her change at that time. It was in very poor shape, AG-3 at best, likely a fair-2 with heavy corrosion. It is also slightly bent. Even then it is the key to the series. My oldest find from change was a 1837 silver dime. It was in a roll of dimes that I got from a local bank.

I think they're probably worried about counterfeiting. You don't see $100 bills on a regular basis. The highest bills I see on a regular basis are $50.
I tend to see $100s a lot more than 50s but I was never a cashier so I don't really see others cash spending.

 I collect some various coins & I'd like to get one of the tradional British pounds that actually weighs a pound. IDK much about them or where to get them except ebay though. Any idea how much one would cost in American currency :?:

A coin dealer in the UK should be able to help you out. Most likely they can take Paypal for payment.
A coin that heavy is impractical for most collectors so I think most dealers wouldn't bother trying to sell them on ebay.

PLAIN & Simple .....Your Not Poor enough to eat at a Popeyes ..! Get over it ..!
besides smarter counterfeiters always do smaller bills ! Had to get special paper but was told older xerox copiers could do the job just fine in the old days . And if hard up for paper ..you just bleach out old one dollar bills in the old old days and just align print and repeat .   :|

Wut?

I don't think really poor people are eating at Popeyes. Some people might be poor because they eat there, though.. can't go dropping $15-20/person per meal all the time if you're truly poor.. but you might be pretty broke if that's a habit you have.

hopefully the emoji s at the end of my post ...gave the effect of my writing the post as being tongue in cheek ...
Sorry if it was not conveyed well enough . i would hope normally , that legal tender that is actual currency . would be accepted anywhere .. hopefully you might have a better experience at your next Popeyes ?
Kinda figured that Popeyes , might have had a run of counterfeit 100 dollar bills or something, Might be the only reason they might have stopped taking them.
