He hasn’t got a lazy eye though

If he had one, he wouldn’t stop being attractive.

In general people are more attracted to symmetrical faces

I saw a school photo of myself when I turned 12 and my face was very symmetrical before I started being an idiot

Most people don’t look like Brad Pitt or Own Wilson. Most people are just average. Average people still find partners. The average person is overweight. Seriously, think about it.

Looks are just a part of the equation and they matter to varying degrees depending on the individual.

What has being overweight got to do about anything?

I’m talking about overall looks. The average person does not look like Brad Pitt, and average people can usually still find a partner. I think there’s a tendency to focus on looks too much here.

When I wore glasses 3 years ago to give me crystal clear vision some of my associates made fun of me at the pub because of how they made me look.

Since then I don’t put them on socially

It is well known as you have said Jamesy, that most people prefer symmetrical faces and especially when it comes to dating.

A lazy eye and a broken nose are obvious negatives in terms of looks.

But looks aren't everything as people have mentioned in this thread.

Can a lazy eye be fixed in general? I would be up for getting it sorted out

I just want to look my best really especially when going out meeting new and socalising

Not to be mean or anything, but some people do discriminate against facial disfigurements.

Do you? That's interesting

Yeah I think that can be taken as being rude actually. It's like asking a fat woman if she's pregnant or when's the baby due....I've done this before

In more depth what do you think they mean by “First impression you have been punched?”

Whoever is saying that is making reference to your broken-looking nose. A punch can break a nose.

At one time i had a deep crush on a girl with a lazy eye. I found it really cute.

You don't know what people are going to find attractive or what won't be important to them.
