Many of these historical figures were never diagnosed.

Even if they were the key word is “in spite of autism”

The first autism diagnose was made 1943. Asperger was not included in DSM-IV until 1994. For obvious reasons autistic people or people with asperger could not be formally diagnosed before that. I am pretty sure someone like Albert Einstein achieved what he did thanks for autism.

If they want to cure something, they should cure cancer or pollution or stupidity instead of brainwashing clueless parents into using their kids as lab rats for something dangerous or possibly fatal.

"But Lost, you can't possibly know know what it's like to be an autistic kid!"
I think I do know what it's like, because I used to *be* one.

"But Lost, you're can't be autistic because my eight year old son is autistic and you're nothing like him!"
Of course I'm nothing like your eight year old son. Maybe the fact that I'm not an eight year old boy has something to do with it???

how this got to the mainstream media is beyond me. No studies done, small numbers (only one set of twins?) speculation and assumptions made all through are not scientific nor is actual documentation or specfic study posted. I have seen such claims in many other places, I don't understand how this go through the editor's filter in any place it has been published. Clickbait trash , no substance, no basis in science or reality. argh!

Autism is just a 1940’s word dumping space for a collection of symptoms medical science can’t explain.

So some treatments may cure some autisms but it doesn’t mean it will cure someone else’s

This is why the internet is full of my child’s condition was improved by doing this etc…

Not all of it is financially motivated rather maybe that child’s brain development was effected by their diet or cured with some early intervention.

I have a condition known as Asperger's Syndrome, or Aspie for short. Generally this condition is displayed differently between males and females. Females tend to hide the condition better then males. If your 8 year old son has Asperger's Syndrome, he may develop and become rather intelligent. His I.Q. may be far above normal. But you will need to protect him from the kids in school.

Moderators are neither omniscient nor telepathic.

The quickest way to make a request like this is to report a post and ask for the thread to be merged with thread <x>.
Fortunately, someone did just that to point out your request which would otherwise run a risk of not being seen.

Threads merged.
