Agnosticism is more thoughtful.

"Doctrine" is a strong word. So is "belief", depending on how it's used. Both connote a personal knowledge when used in referrence to God, not merely an opinion.

I actually see myself as more agnostic. I don't believe in a higher power, but I'm not going to argue that I can prove it - I can only give reasons that give me cause to believe as such.

That very well could be strong agnosticism or possibly agnostic atheism.

I may fall into soft agnosticsm, because I believe I am still in a state of doubt somehow.
