that is not really fair. i am not worried about a cure cos since i am 23 it is propably to late for me to be cured of anything.
i won't be for it if it just consists of pre birth testing that leads to selective abortion of autistic babies. that is just murder.

most spectrum peoples that are against it are against it cos they have been how they are for their whole lives and don't know any diffferent. so when the cure comes along they may think of it as a cure for being me since being me is a horrible disorder apparently. thats what i think anyway.

i don't like the whole judgement of a whole group by the evils in it lets try not to judge nts by the evil jerks that we meet.
spectrum peoples are just bright threads in the tapastry of humanity. if there were no richness or variety inherit lunacy and inbreeding would be commonplace

Main reason I would - I feel like I'm 3/4 NT as it is.

I'm not interested in a cure that changes the basic fundamentals of my personality and world perspective.
What would we be afterwards? I certainly wouldn't be Blake anymore. Perhaps society would accept me, but I wouldn't be able to accept myself.

No one is working on a cure, anyway. It's just their code word for eugenics. "Charities" like Autism speaks are working towards eugenics to eliminate autistics before we are born - they couldn't care less about those of us who are already here.
