Approximate 75 years. I figured that'd be long enough for technology to come to the level I wanted to write about, yet still be fairly recognisible. Plus there's another reason...

Will the book be freely available...
and will it come in a digital version for us people who need it red out loud by the computer... since mom does not have the time to do it...

I want it to be freely available. I dunno about a digital reading, but I will see, when I get it published, about getting an audiobook version done.

I might consider it, but can those be read by the voice synthesiser thingy?
yes.. i know they can be read on my Mac by the voice synthesis engine...
