Hey... I've been playing it online, and it's sorta choppy, you guys have a problem with the online play too?

I haven't tried online play yet, but I hope to get mine connected as soon as possible.

I really want to play it online, but no one has told me how to hook a wii up to the internet, just by my lack of knowledge it seems more complicated than hooking up an xbox to the internet because it has something to do with some wireless stuff...so... does this just mean plug it into a wireless router or something? i really wish i could just plug it into regular internet, but i suppose it isn't really my problem since i personally don't own a wii, but all of my friends do.

as for brawl so far, i love it. my only problem with it (besides the fact that way too many of my friends want to play it at the same time so we have to do some annoying rotation bullcrap which really takes away from my brawling experience) is that they made all of the characters sooo much better or just great in the first place (for the new characters) EXCEPT for link. Link is so cool, but now i just can't use him at all. his attacks are even less powerful than they were in melee, and the have way too much recovery time, which is a total bummer because i really like to play as link in his new yellow costume.

besides that, i really like to play as toon link, wolf, ike and snake. toon link is great because he's got the gadgets and whatnot of normal link, and although they might be slightly less effective than normal link's gadgets, (slower arrows) he way over compensates for that by having way good smash and B+up.

wolf is neat just because his attacks are just what i want them to be, quick and tricky.

ike is sweet because i've always been a fire emblem fan, and because he is super damaging and has the coolest looking attacks (in my opinion) also with his neutral A attacks he can even outspeed some fast characters.

snake is fun because he can set his mines and shoot his rockets and they are fun to use and get good with. i love the tricky characters. also his neutral A's are fantastic.

Do you fight your dad on Brawl a lot then?

What kind of internet connection do you have, and how fast?

my internet is pretty good, i just thought you had to have some ridiculous wireless internet or something.

If you have wireless internet then connection is easy. If you don't, you need to buy a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector (which is what I'm going to do) and plug it into your computer to allow the Wii and DS to play online. This is what you'll need to do if you want to play Brawl online, though beware, Japanese gamers are incredibly good.

My favorite characters are Sonic, R.O.B. and Lucario, but I cannot play with the Wii controller, I must use my old gamecube controller to play.

When I get Brawl I'm going with the Gamecube controller. There's nothing on the Wii Remote to enhance the expierience so your better off going with the Gamecube controller as control is downgraded for the Wii Remote.

My favorite characters are Snake, Captain Falcon and Pit.

Right now, my cousins are in my house, and they don't let me play Wii

I'm going to use Ike, Meta Knight, Solid Snake and Lucario. Funny, I always write them in that order.

I just rented the game yesterday. It's a lot of fun! My favorite character is definitely Pit. I like how he can fly.
