I thought Inbetweens days was a 'rip off' of another New Order song.

The Offspring's "The Kids Aren't Alright" and the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" theme tune. I actually thought the Buffy theme was (an instrumental of) the Offspring track until i found out it was (officially) by someone else...

Why is it whenever I hear "What's goin' on" by Four Non Blondes I start singing "Don't Worry, Be Happy"?

"Black Hole Sun" sounds like "In My Life" by The Beatles, but with an Electric Guitar.

I NEVER made that connection until you mentioned it. I could never pin it down, but BHS does have a similar melodic tonality.

on radiohead's amnesiac album, the exact same weird sounds can be heard at the end of both pulk and pyramid song. that's kinda different though, because it was intentional and not plagiarism.

however, the chorus of karma police is the same chord sequence as part of "sexy sadie" by the beatles. lucky it was done so brilliantly, otherwise everyone would be complaining about it here.
