With a start Nidia realized she must have allowed her expression to betray her, but Virgil's words were welcome and so she didn't mind, even when he went on to refer to her as "latin". As the refugees stepped wearily toward her, she realized one of the men held a crumpled bundle in his arms.

"My daughter... Corinne," he explained, pushing back the blanket to reveal the girl's head of patchy hair and her swollen mouth--no doubt toothless, or else nearly so.

"Come along." She waited until the last of them had entered the bunker, then she directed them toward the lab, following from behind.

((Nidia will see to the immediate needs of the group and make her best guess as to any underlying ailments. I'm going to bed soon, too.))

((Mind if I join? After reading all 25 pages..............))

Name: Dibble Yesterday and her husband KJ

Sex: Female and male respectively

Appearence: Dibble is 5'6 with short blonde hair, sea-green eyes and a short fuse. KJ is 6' straight, black hair, blue eyes, easily exasperated

Useful Skills: These two drive an old armoured tank around trying to avoid the growing wars. KJ was one of the people on the front line when the nuclear bombs went off, Dibble was very lucky to find him. They're both skilled fighters, KJ is a doctor and Dibble is a fine chef.

Personality: Dibble and KJ have been in love for the past 30 years. They fight like cats and dogs, but will stick by each other to the end. KJ can't stand arrogance, phobias, pedanticness (or whatever), but is a calm soul and loves computers. Dibble is always in a temper, and hates it how KJ can stay so calm and thinks computers are a waste of time.

Posessions: Supplies looted from posts that have been abandoned, few weapons for self defence, the few material possessions they both had before the wars, and their mutant mutt Morgan.

Yes, let it die a natural death.

Right now we're just shoving a food tube down it's throat.
