"Good point. If you have survived in your world, chances are you will be useful. Shall we be going Irial?" He awaited her response.
"Yeah. Let's go." Irial was impatient to get out of this place, she had a feeling that this was not a safe place for them to be. However, there was one last thing to be done. While Alaric and Dr. Auckland were standing, Irial measured both of them up and made mental drawing of them, otherwise she would have been unable to transport them. It was useless remembering one distinguishing feature; if she were to memorize one of their noses, the nose would be the only thing to accompany her back. It took an acute observer and a born people-watcher to perfect that skill, and Irial Faith was nothing if not an acute observer.
Closing her eyes, Irial imagined the deck of the ship, and upon opening her eyes, was back upon it. Her first action was to check to see that she had not missed anything. Luckily, both Dr. Auckland and Alaric had their noses and such attached.
After that, Irial threw open the cabin door and climbed down the stairs to where she had left Marie.
