A white man must never refer to a black man as "boy".

there is something wrong with everything.

anything could be misunderstood when taken out of context.

besides, adult females often get called "girls".

adult males rarely have to get called "boys".

even junior high school males "guys".

and what is that, sexist?

double standards, same thing :skull:
It is IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone. I think Rule 34 of the universe is that if you can think or do it, somebody somewhere finds it offensive. I learned that it can sometimes be a waist of time trying to explain myself & apologize cuz others put words in my mouth & I get pi$$ed off & dig myself into a much deeper hole.

Some precious lil "people" are so entitled and self righteous, that they label everything they don't like as "disrespectful", "rude" or "offensive". You can't measure "respect". Anyone could (correctly) find anything "offensive"

"Logic could be used to justify anything "

Example:. A panhandler was swearing at drivers that didn't give him cash. He could have found it "offensive" and "disrespectful" that they didn't give him cash. If they were to have given him cash, he could have said it was not enough cash and it is still "disrespectful". (Slippery slope, Trump card, trump card)

"Karen's"

My former "friend", had the nerve to tell me that she would tell me when I did something she didn't "like " and she expected me to change, immediately, permanently, drastically, and cheerfully.

I was like ("what if you do something I don't 'like' "?)

She was like "I'll try to stop doing it "

"Try"? That b***h didn't just ask me to "try" to stop doing what she did not"like". She demanded that I stop

And even, she wasn't even willing to quit jaywalking because I didn't "like" it.

Instead she correctly told me that "people do it all the time"

"People" murder, rape and et cetera

8 billion "people" in the solar system

Can you even define "political correctness" or give examples of it? What behaviours on this site are an example of "political correctness" being overused?

It honestly seems like to me that when people on here complain about "political correctness", they either flat out don't understand an issue and the topic about it, yet somehow feel as if they need to comment on it, or just want to stifle discussion about something they don't agree with. People whinging about "political correctness" as if it fixes anything or will immediately stop a discussion they don't like is the actual issue here.

I'm seeing this a lot at my current workplace. And I'm in the UK. As a POC, I get this thrown at me a lot and I no longer have the energy left to deal with people like this.
