I know you can set the CPU Level in Tournaments but I never tried it in normal matches. I used to think it only went up to level 3.

Let's see:

- Caught all 151 Pokemon in the original version, including Mew. Nobody else I knew of had done that, and I was the first one to do so.
- Demolished people in Pokemon Gameboy Tournaments in the original version. The sheer boredom of being on top and not having a challenge forced me to quit.
- Got all characters in FFVII Maxed out to lvl 99, with all the Enemy Skill Materia, all Materia maxed out, and pretty much everything else completed.
- Was the co-founder of the most powerful LS in FFXI on our server. One of the best Dragoons on our server as well.
- Was Ranked #1 on the USWest Ladder Server (Non-Hardcore) for months with my Hammerdin. I had Enigma Armor with a Perfect Roll and could solo Baal in Hell.
- Got invited to play in a tournament in Starcraft for money. I finished 1-2 and didn't win any cash, but it's cool that I at least got invited. :)

World of Warcraft - if by a small group, put on a top #10 Paladin list of a very heavily populated server (Blackrock) in '05 or early '06. Numerous outnumbered odds wins in PvP, etc.

Jedi Academy - against a player better than me 1v1 and one almost as good as me, lost 5-3 in a 2v1. Also one of the best Aussie players back in the day; I've since been replaced.

Team Fortress 2 (PC) - 13491 healing as medic without dying on Dustbowl defence cap 6. It was a public server, but hey! It's on my record, now.

CoD4 - finished Veteran difficulty in less than two days with no prior experience with the game. Not as good as the JKA / WoW ones, but it's still pretty recent.

For the most part, I'm not really a collector or anything when it comes to singleplayer games, with Bioware products being the exception. I try to complete everything I can in them - get the best gear and complete all the sidequests before moving onto the last bits. Final Fantasy games, however, I just can't finish - I've come close to doing so, but I always get distracted by the huge amount of side content there is. Side content I'm not good enough to complete. Once my 360 is back from repairs, I'll do an Insanity difficulty run of Mass Effect with a new character; should be able to add that to my list of achievements.

1. I used to play FF3 (6 in Japan) repeatedly with the following goal- 1 character to level 99 with all spells learned from all espers. Rest of the characters didn't matter so much. Then I would do time trials to see how fast I could win with that goal. I believe I made it down to about 15 hours playtime for a complete run-thru of the game, before I went to college. I think I could have gotten it a few hours lower had I left out my 99 goal and not gotten certain treasures throughout the game.

2. I got all endings to Chrono Trigger.

3. I beat GTA3 (no cheats) which is a huge accomplishment for me, because I rarely play non-RPG games to completion.

Though I'd say currently it's hard to make real accomplishments in games these days because so few have high scores and most are somewhat easy to complete if you just take the time. Especially RPGs, because you can just level more til your characters are way above the boss's level.

Thank you. I think the first time I played it it took me about 40 hours, but I really got attached to that game. I must have played it at least 70+ times. I guess it's just one of my "things". I haven't really found another game I could play that much since then, even RPGs I like I'll play once, maybe twice through max.

I've played it once and it took me about 40 hours. It was one of the few games which I didn't complete within a week or two.

Another feather to add to the cap:

As of yesterday I now have a gold medal for every single track released with TrackMania Nations. (including the pro circuits)

I also have about 10 nadeo records. Unfortunately I am no where near the world record on any of the tracks that count. I.E. expert and above.

I got to Star Level 5 on MySims for the Wii... One of the few videogames I was able to beat on my own.

There is one accomplishment that I especially recall when thinking about multiplayer accomplishments.

Was #1 sniper and in the top 10 for a handful of other classes in the world's 8th most popular Team Fortress Classic server.

SilentHunter 3 with GWX update: during the Invasion of Norway, my Uboat sunk the Battleship "Warspite" with a single torpedo! I also sunk 2 of the 10 destroyers escorting it, and a few days later I intercepted and sunk 2 Troopships and 1 Southampton class Cruiser carrying reinforcements to Narvik. It's my highest tonnage sunk in a patrol so far.

My proudest gaming moment is from all the way back before atari.
It was the vektrex. A tiny tv and gaming system combined. Black and white, built in controller, real old school.
We had a game called Berserk. I played it until the points got so high it rolled over back to 0. At that point the screen glitched and the game acted all wonky. I got unlimited lives except that when I earned enough points to gain a life it instead reduced my life total by one.
So I played the game so well that I got to an unknown glitch in the programming.

Just shows you how much work goes into games these days, a lot more than when they were introduced.

Yeah. The original Donkey Kong game didn't have an end, it just stopped past a certain level because they never expected anyone to get that far.
