(Helen) Marnie's album "Crystal World." Helen Marnie is the main vocalist from the band Ladytron. "Crystal World" is her solo debut. Every song on it is great.

Ladytron themselves are an electropop quartet. Some of their well-known songs are "Destroy Everything You Touch," "Playgirl," "Seventeen," and "International Dateline." I enjoy all of the Ladytron songs more or less; they are my favorite band.

I started listening to them in 2008. I can listen to their entire discography in one day without getting bored. I have a Last.FM account and have been on it since August 24th, 2010 and almost have 3k plays for their music.

This, though I haven't yet heard m b v. Loveless is really close to my heart though so I will just assume it's brilliant.

Exai by Autechre is another awesome release this year.

I really love Disclosure's new album Settle, moreso than Daft Punk's RAM, which sounds less fresh to me. Also really enjoying Laura Marling's Once I Was An Eagle. The stripped back approach really suits her style and is far closer to her live performance.

Today I've been mostly listening to AlunaGeorge's new album Body Music. Really love it so far, even if half the tracks have been floating around since last year. Can't wait to see them double bill with Disclosure in a few months.

New here, but I'll chime in with what I liked from 2013 so far:

These are my favourites:
Foals - Holy Fire
Disclosure - Settle
Everything Everything - Arc
Villagers - Awayland
Daughter - If You Leave
QOTSA - ...Like Clockwork
Savages - Silence Yourself
Toro y Moi - Anything in Return

I also liked what Laura Mvula, Phoenix, Laura Marling, The Knife, lume, James Blake, F Vampire Weekend, Young Wonder, Woodkid, Austra, Bastille and Frightened Rabbit have put out this year. 2013 looks set to become a vintage year for music, and I'm looking forward to when Arcade Fire, CHVRCHES and Arctic Monkeys release their new albums.

Forgot awhile ago to post Savages-Silence Yourself. Also accidentally posted the album Shelter by Ramshackle Glory and Ghost Mice twice. I am now at 35 albums including compilations that are my favorites for 2013.
