I have something of an obsession re intelligence. Currently I'm really interested in the correlation between reaction time and IQ. Some days I'll have over 20 goes at things like Slobrain and other such tests. I'll quite often repeat doing things I've done before, even if I saved the result already on my USB stick.

Intelligence wise- Verbal is highest. Numerical next- also very high. Non verbal- mixed. Pattern recognition avg around Mensa level . MR and Matrix borderline to low average. Visual memory is poor. Mostly manage to get to level 6 on this. Very occasionally level 7

Oh hang on though, looking at those IQ scores, they are all high, and some super-high. Now I'm not sure at all.
And you have some significant RRBs, I would say, in the way you follow routines and do things over and over.
You might even be a Type 1,4 "Expert"
What do you think?

We haven't had a Type 4 "Shaman" yet.
Anyone here with more severe RRBs than social issues?
(Are they all out repetitively socialising?)

I would say my daughter is more of a 4, or a 4/1. She has a lot of repetitive behaviours and a high verbal IQ. But doesn't seem to be socially troubled. She is a lot more tactful than me.

But obviously she isn't actually here, here!

I'm thinking that really high IQ but inability to do puzzles would be spikey IQ profile, which I've got as Type 2 :?:

But to be honest, I'm second-guessing whether I've understood the types correctly because of your high verbal IQ. Were you diagnosed with Aspergers or autism, if you don't mind my asking?

I was diagnosed with Asperger's. Social communication was classic autism level. Social interaction was Asperger's level

I don't see myself as an 'expert' at anything. I do have EF difficulties with organising and planning , sequential tasks . Adaptive functioning markedly < IQ

I seem more "aspie" than anything else, though with a touch of both the adjoining groups. (What does it say that I got distracted by reading up on how Venn diagrams deal with more than 3 sets?)

I have a crazy number of RRBs.
I'm not good at socialising but I did manage a 25 year career dealing with humans.
That's not to say it was easy or that it was done voluntarily.
It nearly killed me.
I've been finished work for over a decade but I'm still burnt out.

Ugh, I know what you mean Isabella.

I worked as a receptionist, as a helpline assistant, as a bank clerk...Can you imagine all that phone answering and having to be smiley and bubbly all day? No wonder my health got absolutely broken.

A better job I had was working with teenagers in schools and colleges, because everyone saw my kind and caring side. I wasn't 'that weirdo'. I was 'Miss, who helps us.'

Happy days!

There seem to be a few methods. Some use these shapes like three-cornered ellipses, others kind of turn the extra sets in what look like rainbows stretching across the circles. And then you get extra dimensions....

Gosh I wish I did! I am so emotional and moody, I wish I was more consistent...
