Better to stick to animals and books than (most) people.

Animals have treated me with more respect than (most) people.

I dunno, I've never had much luck trying to borrow money from animals or books.

nobody's perfect.

if something looks too good to be true, it usually is.

"life" is not fair, but "life" goes on and on and on.

there's something wrong with everything.

more effort does not guarantee the result.

plenty of precious lil "people" act all "buddy buddy," but then the second they (correctly or wrongly) think that you did the slightest thing wrong, those annoying lil dipshits act all "doctor jekyll and mister hyde".

the vast majority of precious lil "people" flap their stupidass traps way too much.

Hmm, the best way to burrow is to go to the Fish Credit Union as they offer the lowest annual percentage rates, and even provide additional APR discounts.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.

I accept:

"Science" cannot predict the weather 300 days from now.

"Science" cannot predict the weather 30 days from now.

"Science" has genuine trouble predicting the weather 3 days from now.

"Science" doesn't really know how the brain works.

"Science" cannot even tell me how my medication works: it comes with a piece of paper that says "the mechanism of action is unknown however it is thought that . . ."

"Science" has yet to come up with a grand unified theory. Some of the best theories require 10, 11 and 26 dimensions, if they were ever to work at all.

Quantitative "Science" rests on math, math rests on postulates and axioms, and those have to be taken on faith because they cannot be proven, by definition.

When "Science" tells me what happened 300 years ago, 3000 years ago, 30000 years ago, 300000 years ago I say "maybe" but "maybe not".

I accept that no-one living today was alive as many as 200 years ago.

I accept that "Science" doesn't know everything. I accept that some people have not accepted this. I accept that things that I accept are not always accepted by others, and things accepted by others are not always accepted by me.

But, I can accept that. (most days).

. . . for now.

I accept that "Science" is an ongoing process that eventually yields results.

I accept that "Science" has already discovered everything that is easiest to discover.

I accept that "Science" is all too slowly replacing the doctrines of Religion and the precepts of Superstition.

Sets of conditions I have in my life that I have to accept before I can accept that it's not meant to be...

I would really need luck to stumble upon a solution as to how I can make my body an efficient biological machine.

For now, my body is not very efficient despite how I look and the activities I do. And I'm not even 30 yet, damnit.

Until I can solve the full scope of my most bothersome aspects of my physical health, especially in sleep, metabolism and chronic upper respiratory issues;

I am not meant to work full time in any more than 2 consecutive days and without 2 consecutive days of rest.
Because my energy levels are not predictable.

I'll stop 'fighting' and 'solving' for 'consistent performance' when I'm 50; it's when one won't be shamed for 'retiring' and not being as productive.

Unless I happened to learn an entirely new language while fully integrating it's 'mindset and internal patterns'; or/and gotten the right amount of speech therapy at my age, no less;

I won't be as eloquent nor am not able to rely on my verbal abilities to carry through beyond bare minimum.
Heck even my own emotions can carry me through more reliably than my ability to make words.
