Just started my freshman year. I've changed majors twice already but I think I've finally found my niche. I'm going in to major in communication disorders (and hopefully become a speech pathologist).

Finished undergrad (experimental psychology) in 2005. Began grad school in the same year; ultimately had to go on hiatus in '09 due to a lifetime of uncontrolled bipolar and almost killing myself a few times. Currently living at home while getting my mental and physical health together. Will finish grad school and become a professor/researcher.

I went to 3 different community colleges.
First at 19 years old, second at 23, third at 32.
I got completely overwhelmed every time and dropped out within the first semester.

You are right artrat, it isn't for everyone.

I plan to get my Masters one day. I am currently enrolled in college working on my Associates. Almost done, too.

I graduated from high school this spring (2 years late, I didn't hand in my assignments). I'm starting college this month to study History, possibly History Education.

I've always known I was going to go to college. Whether or not I'm capable of finishing it is another matter entirely.

I fall into both categories. I WAS a high-school drop-out for several years. NOW I am a Masters student.

After four years I was a few credits shy of a degree and my scholarship ran out. I thought the sheepskin was just a formality so I stopped. I had no idea that most people didn't see it that way.
