How about 7 of 9 from Star Trek:Voyager?

No one from Naruto really fits here. They are not obsessed with their area jutsu but are training to master them.

Sai has been trained to be unfeeling and have no room for socializing with others, his book shows at one point he was a normal kid.

Shiksamaru was just super bright but had no interests or drive.

I don't know about any of these examples, a lot of these character traits can exist in people who aren't autistic. Of course I don't know any of these characters or the shows they're on.

But here are some tv characters who I think are most definitely portrayed as autistic:
- L, from the Japanese anime, "Death Note" (yes, if you haven't heard of it, his name is L - it's an alias. XD)
- Sheldon Cooper, from sitcom "The Big Bang Theory".

For me, it bothers me that tv shows will use 'some' autistic traits to portray their characters, but don't identify them as or even use the word "autistic" - it's not fair to accept some aspects of autism, and not others - and if they're going to anyways, at least acknowledge it. Some artists, like the creators of Death Note - didn't even know they were imitating autistic characteristics, they just wanted to portray, quote, "a very intelligent but unavoidably strange character." - yet no one can recognize these traits in real life - ironic, isn't it?

How about most of the characters that sprang from the inhabitants of "Termite Terrace," AKA the animation department of Warner Brothers in the "golden age of animation," especially from the minds of Isadore "Friz" Freleng, Bob Clampett, Bob McKimson, Fred "Tex" Avery, and that overpaid cel-washer, Chuck Jones?

I would definitely agree with Radar O'Reilly from M*A*S*H*.

Almost every version of Sherlock Holmes appears to be an aspie even though I've never seen a book/t-v show/movie where it actually says he is one. It's widely accepted he is one. Sheldon Cooper is commonly considered an aspie although it is never actually stated on the show. Dr. Temperance Brennan (Bones) on the show Bones is an aspie (according to the show creater, and she definitely shows aspie traits). River Tam on FireFly shows some aspie like traits, but I don't believe she actually is one (she has brain damage and probably PTSD as well). Anya on Buffy the Vampire Slayer definitely shows aspie traits (I don't know if she actually is an aspie, if the whole demon becoming human thing is a metaphor/symbol for Asperger's, or if it just coincidence). Many fans (including me) believe Anya has it. Meg and Charales Wallace probably have it in the A Wrinkle In Time movie because they almost certainly have it in the books. Same goes for Otis in Because of Winn Dixie (I'm basing my Asperger's diagnoses of him in the movie based off the fact he probably has it in the book). Meg, Charles Wallace, and Otis all seem "off" in the movie versions as well. Someone said Lilo from Lilo and Stitch probably had it and I agree even though it's never actually stated in the movies/t-v show. Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter might have it although, again, it's never actually stated. I've heard people say Napoleon Dynamite has it but I don't know if it's true (probably is though). The main character in Spirited Away struck me as odd, but I don't think I would jump to the conclusion that she must be an aspie without more evidence. Winifred (or "Fred") on the show Angel acts like an aspie, but she was traumatized from spending 5 years in a demon dimension. Plus, I believe the show mentions she was tested for a personality disorder (I don't know everything that could fall under that category). Cat in Victorious (the same character is on the new show Sam and Cat) seems like an aspie, but the show mentions she is bipolar instead.

I think Cat from "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat" might be an Aspie.

That's why I mentioned her- she has so many aspie traits! However, the show calls her bipolar and a lot (but definitely not all) of her traits can be explained by this or other disorders. I'm sticking with what Victorious calls her (bipolar) until they say otherwise. But again, she has enough aspie characteristics to be worth mentioning. She does seem more like me (an aspie), then the bipolar (I'm NOT bipolar, but I know several people that are) at certain times in the show.

The new Spider Man shows a lot of signs of Aspergers.

But I think Dib (Invader Zim) might have AS, he's obsessive/has strong interest in the paranormal, he's constantly told he's "crazy" because of his interests and his (bad) social skills.

Also, as a little kid my dad told me I had a huge head too (not an AS symptom but meh)

Zim could have it too for the same reasons (Bent on conquering Earth, socially awkward)

Come to think of it, a lot of IZ characters could have it...

Probably there's no one out there that watches Korean Dramas. They are the bomb at story-telling. Best Aspie character ever depicted was the lead on "Good Doctor" -2013
