It's true. And ether.

I also remember seeing it on the pack when I used to buy Victory V's.

The further back you go, the better it was for legal narcotics and dangerous stuff.

According to my chatbot,
"There have been no credible reports or evidence to suggest that Jekemans throat sweets ever contained chloroform or ether. These products are known for their use in soothing sore throats and typically contain ingredients like menthol and eucalyptus. If you have specific concerns or questions about their ingredients, it's best to consult the product packaging or contact the manufacturer directly for accurate information."

(Sounds like me when my ASD symptoms are at their worst. )

Anyway, it seems you're out of luck. Even if you had a time machine, you'd not get your chloroform fix from Jakeman's.

A few more routine groceries. Box of eggs, bunch of grapes, box of nicotine gum, pack of sliced sharp cheddar cheese. Stupid Walmart didn't have extra sharp cheddar.

It's worse than that. Buying the smartphone is just the first step. After that you're committed to regular monthly payments or it stops working. Rebate for not using it for a while? No chance. And if you don't get one then little by little society will marginalise and exclude you.

That's what I'm beginning to find out. It's been difficult or impossible tor me to register online for various things without supplying a mobile phone number, and I can't even use my debit card for some transactions because those involving larger sums now require an authorization code, which my bank won't send to a landline. Dreading this practice being adopted by my credit card company as well.

Yes, I got a letter from the USA's IRS that if I didn't verify my identity, they wouldn't send me my refund, even though I had received my refund a couple weeks ago!
