Today being the second day of the 100-squats-a-day challenge for me, I have done thirty-five squats so far.

Today, and for the past week and a half--two 20 minute cardio sessions on my stationary bike; one in the morning, one in the evening, slowly working up to two 30 minute sessions, all done daily. Gained a ton of weight over the past four years due to taking all kinds of prescribed anti-anxiety and antidepressant meds. Stopped the meds back in August, now it's time for me to get back into shape.

Did the second of two 20-minute sessions on my stationary bike. I felt good after the 20 minutes, so I went an extra 5, and still felt good. I'll probably be increasing my two daily sessions to 25 minutes.

Got up at 6 AM and did my 25-minute stationary bike workout at around 6:15. I was feeling a bit fatigued last night after my evening workout, but after getting done this morning, that all went away. One more workout tonight.

Morning 25-minute stationary bike workout done. Went a little faster, up to 75-80RPM with the same resistance. It definitely woke me up. Next up: A little dumbbell work in the afternoon, then another 25-minute bike workout tonight.

Two 25-minute workouts on the bike, plus some upper-body dumbbell work done for the day. I might tweak the bike workouts to get a little more intensity out of them. Heart rate was probably around 140-150 BPM which works for me, but I might increase the time to 30 minutes there, or if I want to get closer to 160, I'll increase my pedal cadence a little and stick with the resistance levels I've picked out that work for me. My bike's resistance goes from 1-25. What I do with it, is start at level 5 for the first five minutes of my workout. For the next five minutes, I'll go up to level 6. Then, I'll go to level 7 for the rest of my workout.

Workout for today: 25 minutes on the bike in the morning, some upper body dumbbell work in the afternoon, then another 25 minutes on the bike in the evening. I feel like I have more energy now that I've been off my anti-anxiety meds for a while now.

Morning 25-minute bike workout completed at around 6:30 AM. Had to move my strength training to 9:30 as I have to go to a church and set up a mixing console for them and get that dialed in. Another 25-minute bike workout will happen tonight. Feeling great.
