I don't like when people assume it's misandrist to call out bad behaviour.

I'm not even suggesting the men in my posts have been misogynist.
Maybe that motivated them, but maybe it didn't.

Their behaviour was based on general assholery, which transcends gender.
The dickhead in question treats my son just as badly, if not often worse.


We're using these examples to illustrate the ridiculous things we've had to experience.
Most of you have nothing to worry about because you'd never act this way.

You know, I just can't understand why I can't find a woman. I mean, I've been following this guy's advice and obviously he's a solid guy that doesn't wish to financially exploit me by playing on my sense of loneliness.

I mean sure, wolves don't have an alpha beta social hierarchy and he sure does say a lot of words without saying anything at all but he's an expert in his field! He even made himself his own certificate so it must be true.

What he describes seems more typical of hyenas whom are matriarchal animals. Yet he makes an awful lot of blanket statements about inherent patriarchal power whilst somehow simultaneously arguing that men have no power at all. A paradox of sorts, an oversimplification of perhaps an overcorrection in society but he fails to acknowledge the nuance of the subject in favour of generating user engagement with his content and making profit through unethical means.

Apparently his book is the best despite a great deal of the reviews saying the only thing it's good for is firewood.

.... Seriously though pick up artists irk me greatly. Even the very concept itself. I think the vast majority are con artists who try to convince you of a problem so they can sell you a solution.

They want to convince people that there's this big one size fits all solution and that it's an exact science but the truth is a whole lot more complex. You can't force a connection, nor should you want to do so. Be it a friendship or a romantic relationship. You can improve your chances of meeting others and possibly finding that connection, but there's no cheat code. No list. It's not some game.

Seriously, haven't this thread run it's course by now? Kicking on a dead horse gets boring and repetitive after a while.

The thing is that it’s not just one horse. There’s many, many varieties, so the topic is virtually inexhaustible. There will always be new material OR old material one has forgotten.

People are free to point it out when a thread is treading water.

It is not “treading water.” If you read through the thread, you will find that the mods do not have a problem it.

I would even say that it’s been important in certain ways and continues to be so although you may be the wrong demographic to benefit from it. Not every thread is going to be for everyone. It’s meant a lot to those who have shared their experiences with harassment (and worse) from individuals who engaged in entitled, misogynistic behavior.

In a recent text exchange, my abusive ex said "I never done u wrong in any way." He abused me in every way.

This was how things proceeded:



When he ran into me a couple weeks ago, he suddenly got interested in seeing our son. He’s not seen or talked to him in a year - not even during Christmas or on his birthday, and he’s only seen him a couple times in the past couple years.

He wouldn’t have lost if he hadn’t been an abusive as*hole and a deadbeat dad. It’s not like I ever expected much. Don’t be abusive and be there for our kid. Simples.

He’s bullying me a bit now, but I’m not going to fall for his s**t.

In the past, I wouldn’t have stood up to him because I was afraid of what he (and others) might do, but I’m done with that noise. The next time I see him I might turn him into stone.

I think recreational sex should be banned, why won't any woman have sex with me. I just think they should be willing to get pregnant anytime I have sex with them...even though I don't want to take care of a child, I still want to spread my seed but I don't want to take care of a kid I wanna have sex with women.
