I'm one of the rare ones who doesn't like coffee in any iteration I've tried. Freshly ground coffee beans smell delicious, but neither coffee beans nor brewed coffee taste like that. I rely on iced tea and Mountain Dew for my caffeine.

Coffee? Never could stand the smell of it, much less ingesting it. When I was a kid, my parents made perked coffee the aroma of which permeated the entire house. I was nauseous.

As an adult, I tried to drink it on one occasion at a Thanksgiving dinner where a cup of it was placed in front of me without being asked if I wanted it. Couldn't do it; I had to cause a minor fuss and reject it.

I much prefer tea. I have drunk both caffeinated and decaffeinated over the years, strictly the latter for the past 8 or 10 years.

I do not drink coffee, but it isn't because I don't like the taste. Coffee (and a few other things) irritates my stomach ulcers and causes me a lot of pain. It also makes my anxiety much worse, but I used to just drink it despite that nasty side-effect.

I've been a tea drinker for a few years as a result!

36 years old and only drank a couple of cups in my "life"

Although the situation could change and then I "need" coffee to stay awake

Love it. Addicted to it, despite the fact it drys my throat. Wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't trying to get into the voice-over industry at some point in the near future.

Yes.

However, because it makes me tired (I don't experience a buzz from it) I usually only have coffee when I can afford to have slower reaction times, drowsiness, unclear thinking and little sense of urgency. So, if I want to be productive then coffee is a big no-no for me. Otherwise I'll be too zoned out or I'll end up napping for a few hours. I have drunk coffee before in order to relax, since in a small amount it can make me feel at ease.

There's a thin line between the amount that I can drink that will leave me just feeling relaxed, and the amount that will make me want to curl up in bed to sleep. I find it rather odd just how much my thoughts can slow down after having coffee. Makes me feel sluggish and my reflexes become slower. Which is fine for leisurely days, but I tend to avoid it most of the time. It also temporarily kills my creativity and motivation because all I want to do is stare into space instead afterwards.

Whenever I have a caffeinated drink with a considerable amount of sugar in, it's the weirdest feeling. Either the sugar counteracts the drowsiness that the caffeine is responsible for, or I flip-flop between hyper and sleepy. It goes like this: "I want to run around! No, sleep first. But I wanna see everything here! Or, I could just lie down".

I certainly couldn't drink coffee every morning like some people do, I'd be a zombie! The smell is usually enough to make me feel relaxed, and in small doses it's usually not too bad. For some reason, I seem to have extreme reactions to quite a few things. I'm a complete light-weight with alcohol, it doesn't take much sugar to make me hyper, and caffeine slows me down.

No coffee for me. Never acquired a taste for it.

My “morning coffee” is a bottle of Diet Coke.

I drink coffee, black, brewed in a 1926 Manning Bowman electric percolator or a 1950 Sunbeam Coffeemaster vacuum press.

Those are pretty eco-friendly in that they are efficient and do not need filters, and I like the chrome Art Deco looks. Also, most importantly, the old-time heating elements weren't too powerful and the coffee is not scorched.

I like Colombian roasts and some Arabica, though there are some fine coffees from the mountains of Africa that I don't know how to classify except GIVE ME MORE FILL MY MUG NOW THESE ARE DELICIOUS--which is about the way I treat most coffees.

At least 300mg caffeine a day to get myself going. 1 giant cup.

I have 1 cup in the morning and usually 1 matcha green tea in the afternoon. I gave up coffee when trying different diets to improve my health issues but didn’t notice any positive changes so I’m sticking with it.

I love coffee, but I'm not addicted to it. I drink it as a treat. I usually have it black, depending on how strong it is. It makes even plain biscuits taste amazing. Anything sweet beside it is great, especially doughnuts with cream.

Coffee is the best and it drives me crazy how most other British people drink instant coffee. It tastes like dirt.

I like most types of coffee. No addictions or dependence of it though.

It depends on my mood, whether or not I'm inclined to take a cup a day or more.
It also depends on the brew, brand, quality, etc. Because some mixtures and brands of certain quantities may gave me varying reactions (usually effects of caffeine) or not.

In terms of flavor, I'd go for brown preferably the local blend from here if not creamier blends or mixes.
In terms of frequency and intake, I may go for a form of supplemental coffee that won't likely give me symptoms. Decaf may still affect me despite being decaf.
